$120,000 - $140,000 / Year

Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (Sleep Medicine) will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with sleep disorders.
This position requires a strong background in sleep medicine and the ability to provide compassionate and evidence-based care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with neurologists and sleep medicine specialists to develop patient treatment plans.
- Order diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMG's, sleep studies, and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological and sleep disorders, including epilepsy, migraine, sleep apnea, and movement disorders.
- Prescribe and manage medication therapies, as well as provide patient education on treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor and follow up on patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records, ensuring compliance with medical regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care teams, collaborating with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay current with the latest developments in neurology and sleep medicine through continuous education and training.
- Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in patient care.
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification with a valid state license.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Previous experience in neurology or sleep medicine is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and patientcentered care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
