Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in the administration and organization of our healthcare facility. You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a physician.

It is your duty to ensure the smooth function of health-related procedures, thereby contributing to the success and overall well-being of our patients.


Duties:


  • Assisting physicians and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients, ensuring efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Managing patient records, keeping it current and accurate, by updating patient information and maintaining confidentiality according to medical laws and regulations.
  • Performing routine clinical tasks such as recording vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with procedures as directed by the physician.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and laboratory tests as ordered by physicians.
  • Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean, and properly stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Communicate with patients through various channels, providing them with relevant information about appointments, preparation for tests, dietary restrictions, etc.
  • Adhere to all healthcare guidelines, protocols, and medical laws and regulations to maintain patients' safety and the quality of care provided.

Other Requirements:


  • Medical Assistant Program Completion
  • 1+ Years Experience as a Medical Assistant (preferably in primary care)

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
