Responsible for finding, creating, and managing strategic relationships for Pongratz Orthotics and Prosthetics (POP).

Responsibilities are as follows:


  • Identify and develop strategic relationships with Doctors, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, insurance companies and therapists. Leads will be generated by contacts already using POP as well as new and previous relationships.
  • Set goals for sales increases based on increased exposure in the medical market in the Valley.
  • Proactively work with practitioners to improve products and services used by POP patients.
  • Build a business development database with Doctors, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and insurance companies that can be used to track sales calls and store information that can be used to increase exposure to those facilities in order to maximize revenue.
  • Assist with creation and distribution of all marketing materials used for marketing purposes by team and by practitioners.
  • Keep folders with company information stocked with assistance from team members as needed.
  • Set up meetings, inservices and education seminars with the medical facilities as suggested by practitioners and as found by marketing channels.
  • Set up training seminars (knee events, CEU classes, etc. for practitioners, PTs and patients that use POP) with assistance from POP staff (prosthetic liaison, practitioner)
  • Participate in local communitybased activities related to O&P and the referral sources and clients we see.
  • Assist in setting annual budget for sales growth for each facility and both orthotic and prosthetic categories.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in healthcare business development, strategic planning, and sales
  • Familiarity with CRM software preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage customer relationships
  • Understanding of marketing principles and strategies
