    JOB SUMMARY:
    This role entails outside sales responsibilities to promote company products and services while cultivating relationships with new and existing accounts. The primary objective is to assist Sysco customers in achieving success while meeting the company's sales and profit objectives. Some non-traditional hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet customer needs successfully.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Acquire new business, retain existing accounts, and prevent lost business to drive profitable sales growth and achieve set objectives within the designated territory
    • Identify and assess potential clients in line with company account segmentation goals
    • Research customer requirements and offer a customized product and service mix to meet those needs
    • Analyze market trends and suggest products based on customer business goals
    • Stay informed about market conditions, product developments, and competitor offerings to provide added value to customers
    • Address customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage
    • Deliver product information and hands-on training to customer staff
    • Travel to customer sites, industry events, company gatherings, etc., using personal vehicle
    • Manage accounts receivable as needed, collaborating with the credit department and client to ensure timely payments
    • Coordinate deliveries according to the transportation department's schedule, troubleshoot any order-related issues that arise (e.g., out-of-stock items, special orders, low inventory, etc.)
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Essential Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED with 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales, or equivalent applicable experience
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in more than one language
    • Prior experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, with a background as a Chef
    Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no multiple DUIs in the last 2 years)
    • Current auto insurance meeting specified liability limits
