- Acquire new business, retain existing accounts, and prevent lost business to drive profitable sales growth and achieve set objectives within the designated territory
- Identify and assess potential clients in line with company account segmentation goals
- Research customer requirements and offer a customized product and service mix to meet those needs
- Analyze market trends and suggest products based on customer business goals
- Stay informed about market conditions, product developments, and competitor offerings to provide added value to customers
- Address customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage
- Deliver product information and hands-on training to customer staff
- Travel to customer sites, industry events, company gatherings, etc., using personal vehicle
- Manage accounts receivable as needed, collaborating with the credit department and client to ensure timely payments
- Coordinate deliveries according to the transportation department's schedule, troubleshoot any order-related issues that arise (e.g., out-of-stock items, special orders, low inventory, etc.)
- Essential Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED with 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales, or equivalent applicable experience
- Proficiency in more than one language
- Prior experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, with a background as a Chef
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no multiple DUIs in the last 2 years)
- Current auto insurance meeting specified liability limits
