- Performs field machining services on client work sites performing any of the following duties:Pipe cutting and bevelingFlange resurfacingDrilling and tappingMilling motor or pump basesLine boringKey-way cuttingShaft turningMetal disintegration bolt removal
- Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Documents all field machining service activities as required.High school diploma or equivalent preferred. TEAM's is a global best in class provider of field machining services to industrial sites and manufacturing facilities. This requires our technicians to align to these expectations. The general duties and major areas of responsibilities of the Field Machining technicians can be broken down into the following stages.
The Field Machinist is responsible for the set up and operation of a wide variety of portable machine tools to perform on-site machine work and repairs on location at client work sites.
Primary role is to execute field machining operations in accordance with the approved site and company procedures.
The technician is directly responsible for the execution of services in accordance with the requirements of the site and TEAM process and procedures.
The technician undertakes the training and development to continuously improve their skills and levels of competence and knowledge.
Trained and competent technicians will be required to lead technicians of a lesser on job sites.
