Adecco is currently assisting local client in the Long Beach area with CNC Machine Operators.
Pay rate ranges from $23-28/hr. DOE. These are long-term positions with the possibility of hiring on for the right candidate

JOB TITLE:
CNC Machinist (setup & operate)

Essential Functions:
Good communication skills and ability to work with supervisors, managers, and coworkers.
Ability/Availability to work extra hours when required.

Excellent blue-print reading skillsGood use of standard measurement toolsGood trigonometry and other math skills3 years minimum CNC experience on mills including setup and operationAbility and experience to operate various types of CNC and manual equipment.

Abiding by all safety regulations and Company policiesCompleting any given job at, or below, the estimated hours - including setup.

Effectively managing tooling including fixtures, inserts, holders, and specialized tooling.

Keeping work area clean and organizedMinimizing scrap and/or reworkMaintaining the preventative maintenance of the CNC mills/lathesOperate other CNC or manual equipment when the CNC mills/lathes are not neededQualifications:
Minimum 5 years lathe experience; 3 years on CNC Mill/LatheBlue print reading skillsAble to setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machinesAble to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparatorsStrong Shop math skillsAble to work to metric dimensionsExperience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems

Non-Essential Functions:
Perform other duties as assigned by managementEducation: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years machining experience on CNC Mill/Lathe equipment

Hours Required:
As needed to complete the job responsibilities.

Overtime to be approved by managementPayrate:
$23- $28/ hr

Schedule:
1st 6:00a - 2:30p M-F2nd 2:00p - 10:30p M-F(OT as needed on Saturdays 7:00a - 12:00p)

Pay Details:
