The city of Göttingen is looking for a canal operations worker for their municipal enterprise Göttinger Entsorgungsbetriebe, Department of Wastewater Treatment Plant / Sewer Operations, starting as soon as possible.

EG 4 TVöD

Working hours: 39 hours/week, part-time possible

permanent, starting as soon as possible

Your responsibilities

The main tasks include:

Cleaning of sewage and stormwater systems using a highpressure flushing vehicle
Maintenance of stormwater retention basins, including inspection and cleaning of inlets and outlets
Documentation of cleaning performance, malfunctions, and defects in a mobile computerbased data collection system

The position also requires participation in an on-call duty and a high level of physical endurance, as well as teamwork and communication skills.

Your profile
You must have a valid Class CE driver's license.

Ideally, you also have a successfully completed vocational or technical training (e.g. bricklayer, locksmith, automotive mechatronics technician).
