    Description:
    Front Office Management
    Responsible for the day-to day operations of the parish front office. Supervises those employees assigned.
    Sacrament Management

    Assists the pastor to ensure that the sacrament records and administrative support is in accordance with the Archdiocese and Canon Law.

    Responsible for all the administrative (non-liturgical) scheduling, paperwork, certificates, marriage licenses, and sacramental documentation, to include Baptisms, and Weddings. Sends notifications to the wedding couples home parishes after wedding. Communicates with all participants as appropriate and required.
    Responsible for the sacramental documentation of Communions, Confirmations, and Funerals. Sends notification to participants home church.
    Financial Management

    Participates as one of the members of the counting team, for all offertory collections, Recording/documentation of all monies that come into the parish other than through collection, preparing the spreadsheet once a week for deposit/recording.

    Participates in the management of the Give Central events. Creating new events as required.
    Communications
    Responsible for the drafting, editing, and submission of the weekly parish bulletin. o Responsible for the parish website. Ensuring it is accurate and timely.

    Participates in drafting and sending social media communications as appropriate – to include e-blasts, Facebook postings, Instagram and other tools as required.

    Participates in the preparation of the advertisement requirements of upcoming fund-raising events, and posts the events to the various social media platforms as well as posters etc.

    Assists the pastor in doing mass mailings the parishioners throughout the year, i.e. Christmas and Easter Letters, and any other mailings that may come up through the year. Coordinates with the printing vendor to do the mass mailings.

    Participates in the upkeep and correctness of the parishioner databases, adding new parishioners and inactivating those that have left the parish Marketing.

    Works with the pastor and staff to draft and implement the parish marketing plan. Coordinates and assists with the scheduled marketing events with the designated staff person.
    Coordinates with the pastor/lay staff in communicating with key external partners as relates to the activities of the parish.
    Other Duties
    Works with the Operation/Business Manager in management of the phone system and the network. Primarily responsible for the technical functioning of the system.
    Works with other key staff and parishioners in the planning, and support of the parishes major fund-raising activities. Coordinates with the committees to assist with communicating and marketing of the parishes major fund-raising activities.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Education Required:
    College education preferred.

    Experience Required:
    Experience in working with various social platforms. Excellent ability to communicate in writing and on various social media platforms. Knowledge of marketing tools. A minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience in a multi-person office, who is Roman Catholic.

    Experience preferred:
    5-10 years of administrative support in a Catholic Church or other not-for-profit office


    Skills Required:

    Use of the Microsoft Suite of products to include Publisher, Database management, knows catholic traditions and practices, or knows when to escalate issues.

    Being able to multi-task. Ability to work within the social media platforms.


    Supervisory skills Other Required:
    Must demonstrate understanding, respect and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission, and values
