    Description

    A recognized consultingservices firm in New York City is currently seeking a new Investment Banking Analyst to join their team in Manhattan .

    Responsibilities :

    The Investment Banking Analyst will be responsible for:

    • Preparing valuations (i.e. comparable analysis, DCF, sum of parts, etc.)
    • Providing a high level of qualitative and quantitative financial modeling
    • Ensuring that all material is accurate and complete
    • Participating actively in client meetings
    • Preparing pitch books to support the group's ongoing business development efforts
    • Conducting business, industry, and capital markets research
    • Performing other duties, as needed
    Qualifications:
    • 1+ year of Investment Banking experience at a Financial Analyst-level
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Finance and/or a related field
    • Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Banking products
    • Solid understanding or experience in Distress / Restructuring or M&A
    • Expertise in financial and computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg)
    • Solid analytical, modeling, and quantitative skills
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong attentionto detail
    • Highly organized
    Desired Skills:
    • Solid understanding / experience with Credit Analysis
    • Experience with Big Bank, Middle Market Banks, and/or Boutiques
