    Manufacturing Engineer Internship - Summer 2024Department: Engineering

    TemporaryLocation: Swagelok Northern CaliforniaDescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, including process improvement, quality control, and project management.

    This is a full-time, paid internship for the duration of the summer (approx weeks), with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

    Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processesAnalyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reductionSupport the design and implementation of new equipment and toolsParticipate in quality control activities to ensure product standards are metCollaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goalsEducation, Experience, Skills, and CompetenciesEducation and

    Work Experience:
    Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (required)

    Skills & Competencies:
    Proficiency with CAD programs and analytical softwareStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with associates from diverse backgroundsStrong desire to learn, curious, and motivated by possibilities
