We are currently seeking a full-time Education Support Specialist (m/f/d) to assist and lead participants in the vocational training program at our workshop in Leonberg, Beaver Dam Lake, NY.

This position is temporary and will run from July 1, 2023 to October 30, 2024.


Your responsibilities - what can you expect?

  • Providing vocational education and training for individuals with disabilities
  • Planning and implementing educational processes and providing assistance to individuals with disabilities
  • Leading the group, managing production processes, and designing work tasks

Your profile - what are we looking for?

  • Technical education, preferably with a qualification as a work therapist
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or willingness to undergo relevant training
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Completion of a traineeship as a work therapist is possible
