    Description

    Our Client is seeking a Temporary Banking Operations Consultant to join their team at a prestigious Japanese Corporate Bank for a 3-6 month contract located in Midtown NYC. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience in banking or financial services and possess bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English. This contract role has opportunity to convert to Full-Time Permanent position.

    Our client is the NYC Branch of a Japanese Corporate Bank, providing a range of banking services such as foreign exchange, trade finance, and investment banking to clients with ties to Japan and the United States. They are looking for one (1) bilingual (Japanese/English) Banking Operations Consultant for a 3-6 month contract with opportunity to convert to Full-Time.

    Description

    The Banking Operations Consultant will be responsible for:

    • Supporting front office operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Developing and maintaining client relationships & provideing tailored solutions.
    • Conducting financial analysis.
    • Staying updated with market trends to provide informed recommendations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
    • Prepare and review documentation, ensure accuracy.
    • Generate reports for senior management, support strategic planning.

    Profile

    The Banking Operations Consultant should have the following background:

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Must be able to work a minimum two (2) days on-site in midtown New York, NY.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a front office role.
    • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required (spoken and written).
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.

    Job Offer

    The offer for the successful Banking Operations Consultant includes a competitive hourly pay rate for the duration of a 3-6 month contract with opportunity for conversion to a Full-Time Permanent Job opportunity with a Hybrid work schedule (2 days on-site) in Midtown New York, NY.
