    Job Description

    A Manhattan based client is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to provide excellent care to patients of all ages.

    This position involves care for all ages. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations.
    Required Qualifications
    Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
    Current NY state medical license
    Completed an accredited residency program
    Current DEA certificate
    Board certified or eligible in primary care
    Current CPR certification
    Preferred Qualifications
    Bilingual in Spanish or Asian language
    Working knowledge of primary HIV medical care and LGBTQI care
    Responsibilities
    Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
    Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
    Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
    Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
    Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
    Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff
