Education
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Mind, Brain & Behavior (Cognitive behavior) from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. I held a Merit-Based Distinguished Science Scholarship for 4 years worth $49,000 per year. I also completed O'Level & A Level (GCSE - CIE) in Natural Sciences & Computer Science. I have conducted research with Prof. Arseny Khakhalin PhD for my Senior Thesis on inducing learning and unlearning in Xenopus laevis through collision avoidance using valproic acid. This study examined the manipulation of visually guided behavior in Xenopus Laevis induced by exposure to Valproic Acid VPA, an HDI. The research showed that VPA promotes neuronal plasticity in the visual organs of X. Laevis leading to the exhibition of visual collision avoidance. My thesis is available at the Bard Library.
