As part of a succession plan, we are currently seeking a Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) for our German companies at our headquarters in Leipzig:

Your responsibilities:

  • You will lead and coordinate the financial accounting of the holding company and three other German subsidiaries with your team of six
  • You will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, etc.) as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to German GAAP
  • You will manage cash flow, liquidity, interest, and currency positions and work with the CFO to further develop treasury structures
  • Your tasks will include continuously developing the department, effectively managing resources, and actively shaping a digital transformation process in the finance department
  • You will advise and support the management in all relevant financial matters
  • You will be the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and tax auditors
  • You will prepare annual tax returns in collaboration with the tax advisor
  • You will prepare VAT returns, ZM reports, etc.
