    Description

    Maintaining the cleanliness, room set up and maintenance of the Plymouth Community Center.
    • Anticipated hours are hours/week.
    • Available shifts can range from Monday - Sunday 6:00 am - 10:00 pm. Must be able to work weekends and weeknights.
    • Variation in shift lengths and start times may vary depending on building activities.
    Essential Functions
    • Perform janitorial duties.
    • Clean and maintain all areas of the community center and its grounds.
    • Complete facility set-up and tear down for room arrangements and general up-keep of the facility under the direction of the Facility Coordinator/Building Supervisors.
    • Perform tasks such as changing light bulbs, washing windows, cleaning restrooms, restocking inventory, mopping floors, dusting, and other light repair work.
    • Operate equipment related to maintenance such as floor scrubber, vacuums and, sweepers, etc.
    Qualifications
    • Previous relevant experience preferred.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to interact with the public in a professional and helpful manner.
    • Ability to work successfully during high traffic and transitional times.
    • Ability to perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties.
    • Ability to complete necessary documentation required in the job i.e., checklists, daily log sheets/reports, and work orders.
    • Must be able to work weekends and weeknights.
    Supplemental Information

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Physical strength and ability sufficient to perform labor for extended periods.
    Seasonal, temporary and non-regular employees are not eligible for benefits.
