Job Title: Customer Service Representative I

Summary:

At TransPecos Banks, we are committed to operating with the highest standards of honesty and integrity. As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and recording routine transactions for bank customers. We provide our customers with excellent customer service, greeting them by name, meeting their needs, and following up to be sure they were satisfied. Our employees help set us apart by providing friendly, high-quality assistance with a focus on our Vision, Values, Culture, and Standards that support the TPB Way of operating.

Wage Type: Hourly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

check cashing
deposits
withdrawals
loan payments
money transfers
issuing cashier's checks and money orders
processing of other types of customer requests
counting and sorting cash
opening and closing the branch
participation in community activities and bank appointed meetings
following bank policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements
maintaining customer confidentiality
any other duties as assigned

Organizational Structure:

Reports to: Team Lead

Branch Manager

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills:

at least 18 years of age
high school diploma or equivalent
clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales, or customer service experience
knowledge of customer service principles
basic computer skills
experience with Microsoft Office and/or Outlook

Talents:

strong numerical ability
excellent listening and communication skills
customer service oriented

Other:

corrected vision
must be able to lift to 20 pounds.
