    Job Title: School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

    Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

    Job Description:

    Are you passionate about supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in an educational setting? Do you possess strong interpersonal skills and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in our school districts. As an integral part of our special education team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to promote their academic, social, and emotional growth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional.
    2. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, using evidence-based strategies and techniques.
    3. Collect data on student behavior and progress towards individualized goals and objectives.
    4. Assist in the development and modification of behavior intervention plans based on ongoing data analysis and observation.
    5. Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, and other school staff to ensure consistency and continuity of support across settings.
    6. Support students in developing and practicing social skills, communication skills, and adaptive behaviors necessary for success in the classroom and community.
    7. Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines and school policies.
    8. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education.

    Qualifications:

    1. Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
    2. Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities, preferably in a school or educational setting.
    3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
    4. Ability to follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and implement strategies outlined by supervising professionals.
    5. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support the unique needs of each student.
    6. Dedication to ongoing professional development and continuing education in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
