    Summary of Responsibilities:

    ArcGNO is seeking a seasonal driver who is secure in operating a large box truck that will be used to deliver and retrieve recycle bins to area businesses in both Orleans and Jefferson Parishes.

    This position is a labor intensive job that requires the ability to move rolling bins that, when full, can weigh up to 350 pounds.

    Driver will work with a second team member and there is a possibility that work will need to be done on Lundi Gras prior to the start of evening parades.

    Days & Hours: Monday - Friday; hours vary and may include early morning and late evening: 20-25 hrs a week. MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK LUNDI GRAS

    Starting Pay: $11:00 per hour

    Essential Functions:


    • The driver will be working at ArcGNO as well as all areas of the city where bins are placed
    • The driver will be part of a two-person crew working in the field
    • Ideally, the driver will have a thorough knowledge of the area both in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes, both East and West Banks as deliveries will be made to specific addresses, including a few downtown office buildings
    • Must be able to move large rolling recycle bins that, when full, can weigh up to 350 pounds.
    • Must be able to follow specific directions when delivering and picking up recycle bins, including some documentation completed at each stop
    Required Qualifications:


    • High school diploma preferred.
    • Must have valid LA driver's license and auto insurance.
