Job Title:
Master of Event Technology with a focus on Lighting (m/f/d)


At Landesbühnen Sachsen GmbH, we are currently seeking a full-time (or part-time) Master of Event Technology with a focus on Lighting to join our team in River Ridge, LA.

Landesbühnen Sachsen GmbH is the second largest multi-genre touring theater in Germany (including music, drama, dance, and puppet theater).

We have a modern main house in Radebeul and a newly renovated open-air stage in the spa town of Rathen.

In addition, we have guest performances throughout the entire season within and outside the state of Saxony. With over 200 employees, we are responsible for organizing, preparing, and executing more than 600 performances per year.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Event Technology with a focus on Lighting
  • Independent setup and supervision of productions
  • Artistic sensitivity
  • Experience operating modern lighting control systems (ETC EOS)
  • Reliability and teamwork skills
  • High level of flexibility and resilience
  • Willingness to travel
  • Enjoyment of working unconventional hours
  • Passion for theater
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)

Desired qualifications:

  • Certificate of Competence according to 20 SprengG (Stage Pyrotechnician)
  • Qualification as an Electrical Specialist for designated tasks
  • Experience in touring theater
  • Knowledge of video technology
