Vernis & Bowling's Deland office is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Florida Civil Litigation, experience with medical records summaries, and must have knowledge of state and federal rules. This is a fast-paced environment that requires candidates to have initiative, effective communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
This position will support multiple attorneys with an assigned caseload involving the following tasks:
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word as well as have strong skills in proofreading, typing, editing, redlining documents and working with legal case management programs.
