Description
Vernis & Bowling's Deland office is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team.

This position will support multiple attorneys with an assigned caseload involving the following tasks:

  • Litigation experience
  • Review of medical records and creating medical record summaries
  • Experience with heavy calendaring and scheduling
  • Managing attorneys' calendars as well as client reporting deadlines and court deadlines
  • Preparing and drafting correspondence
  • Trial preparation and review
  • Organization of discovery documents, investigative files, etc.
  • Billing
  • Drafting motions

Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
