- Assess and complete patient diagnoses, treatment, education and referrals in accordance with Hospital policies.
- Coordinates patient care services and activities designed to increase patient census and control costs.
- Counsel patients and family on preventative care.
- Perform treatment intervention medication orders, administration and medical treatments.
- Assist in medical emergencies.
- Work with treatment team in admitting and discharging patients to and from the Program.
- Perform as part of the treatment team in planning, coordinating and implementing the direct care of patients.
- Conduct physical exams of the patient during admission and attend to basic medical needs/issues; work with hospitalists to manage more complicated medical conditions.
- Provide telemedicine on-call coverage utilizing tele psychiatry and patient round psychiatric services for Client's psychiatric program. Utilize tele psychiatry and patient round tele psych.
