    Opportunity

    Skybound is looking for a games-community obsessed Sr. Director of Brand and Content Marketing to lead our marcomms and engagement strategy with fans, influencers, and target customers for several current and unannounced Skybound games. The Sr. Director of Brand and Content Marketing will be the architect for our creative marketing strategy as well as the lead strategist in our efforts to engage the wider gaming community for our upcoming titles. In this critical role, you are leading the strategy, planning, research, and creation of marketing strategy & content with the responsibility for inspiring, acquiring and engaging our target audience(s).

    Reports: This position will report to Skybound's VP of Games Marketing

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Own the end-to-end vision of our brand marketing – how we bring big creative ideas to life across both traditional and unconventional approaches with a content strategy that emphasizes key messaging leading up to and after a game launch.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create high quality trailers, core assets and promotional content that will support our marketing strategy.
    • Lead the strategy to identify and cultivate relationships with key industry streamers to maximize audience engagement and game promotion.
    • Land and manage a tiered talent and influencer partnerships strategy aimed at co-promotion or engagement for our games, in sync with legal and other internal teams.
    • Guide our community development initiatives, acting as a liaison between developers and the gaming community — providing leadership to the team that manages activities such as forum management, community council engagement, blog post creation, developer updates, and patch note communications.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress towards objectives, and design experiments aimed at refining our strategy, campaigns, and creative content to optimize marketing ROI.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, publishing, and PR, to ensure alignment of content marketing initiatives with overall brand and game objectives.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities, identifying new opportunities for content innovation and audience engagement.
    • Lead a team of brand managers, community managers, and influencer relations specialists to produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

    Requirements

    • 12+ years of experience in consumer marketing, with a sector focus in entertainment and/or tech.
    • Proven track record within the talent, influencer and streamer space. Familiar with contracts, negotiations and management.
    • Creatively minded with genius in knowing the copy and art needed to influence trial and purchase.
    • Results-oriented, with a high-level of competence on how to define and measure KPI's to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
    • Strong audience segmentation experience, with examples of how to engage overlapping but unique audiences.
    • Ability to inspire and lead a team; must be able to communicate clear direction both with direct team and cross-functionally.
    • Polished professional who is comfortable presenting at all levels of leadership, internally and externally.
    • Intuitive; knows how to use data, experience and gut to leap frog challenges and competition.
    • A self-starter who can work independently and self-correct when necessary.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Existing relationships within the marketing and gaming industry (agencies, talent managers, influencers, etc.)
    • Extensive professional experience in the gaming industry, coupled with a profound understanding and passion for gaming culture.
    • Demonstrated expertise in cultivating and nurturing gamer communities, with a proven track record of successful community-building initiatives.
    • Prior experience as the creative and strategic go-to-market lead on a successful game title
    • Just as quirky and passionate about gaming and Skybound as we are

    Job Type: Regular, Full-Time

    Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000

    • Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
    • The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees
    • Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role

Still reeling from Nolan's betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear - that he might become his father without even knowing it.
