- High School diploma or GED
- Technical Degree or Trade License is a plus
- Two years of manufacturing experience in assembly, fabrication or logistics
- Advanced electrical experience and trade knowledge related to the processes within the area
- Passion for training others
- Strong people skills
- Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions
- Able to work in high pace work environment
- Good to advanced problem-solving skills
- Understanding of lean/continuous improvement
- Skilled in using hand-tools such as drivers, forklifts, pallets jacks, electrical diagnostics equipment, etc
- Demonstrated ability to work in and advance a teaming environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft and SAP

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Richmond, Virginia. As a Shift Leader, you will be assisting with work plans as defined by Technical Operations manager to ensure the proper testing of PDU's, STS, and UPS equipment. This position will also ensure proper communication and product flow with assembly lines and departments within the IPU structure. The Shift Leader cooperates with the Technical Operations Manager to create an effective work environment, reinforce production test schedules, quality, and identifies best practices to implement within the test and manufacturing process.
