Description:

We're looking for a Financial Analyst to support a Revenue Strategy team for a major social media client. As a part of our team, you will work closely with the Small and Medium Business Sales Team to provide thoughtful analysis and insights that will help the business make informed decisions that aim to maximize revenue generation efforts. This team supports the vast majority of advertisers and businesses on the social media platform, globally. You'll collaborate with Sales to build financial models, develop reporting materials, and manage cross-functional communication & relationships.

What you'll do

● Data

○ Data wrangling and QA of large datasets from multiple sources including but not limited to: BigQuery, Looker, Salesforce

○ Develop actionable insights and Sales strategy through the analysis of large datasets across multiple tools (Excel, Python, SQL etc)

○ Develop & maintain regular revenue forecasts through pacing analysis, Python forecasting models, and collaboration with the Snap Small Medium Business

Sales Team

● Reporting

○ Develop financial reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations supporting Sales and go to market organization

○ Create insightful and visually appealing recurring business review reports / presentations for executive leadership

● Stakeholder Management

○ Lead cross-functional projects with Sales, Finance, Data Science, Operations, and Product teams

○ Work with non-technical business users to understand their analytical needs, document and prioritize requirements, and help them effectively use the data and analytical tools that the team has developed

What we're looking for

● A detail-oriented person who has a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational/project managing skills

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and someone who feels comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization

● Ability to rapidly run ad hoc reports and organize output effectively in spreadsheets and presentations

● Able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment

● Someone who is self-directed and proactive

● Someone who can multitask, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Skills:

Sql, python, excel

Minimum Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in STEM related field or business, finance or economics with 2.5+ years of relevant work experience

● Comfortability working with large sets of data across multiple tools sets

● Intermediate level or above: Excel, SQL & Python

● Proficiency developing and maintaining dashboards using a BI tool like Tableau/Looker

Preferred Qualifications

● Familiarity with time-series and forecasting methods in Python

● Familiarity with: Looker, BigQuery, Salesforce

● Prior experience working within the Advertising industry or providing support to scaled sales, growth or marketing teams
