"The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking you for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Construction Equipment Operator (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in the Magdeburg region. The vocational school is also located in Magdeburg, while the training workshop is in Königsborn (near Magdeburg). There is the possibility of a place in a dormitory during your apprenticeship.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:

You will support the track construction teams and ensure the safety of rail traffic with them
You will learn how to survey the track construction area and operate construction equipment
You will learn how to renew the gravel in the track bed, install new rails, operate material handling equipment, and maintain construction equipment
Possibility to obtain a Class B driver's license and pass the exam for excavator and loader operator
If you do not have a driver's license yet, we will cover your driving school and exam costs during your apprenticeship as a Construction Equipment Operator (Note: the monetary benefit must be taxed and contributed by you)
