Do you have a knack for electrical work and enjoy tackling challenging projects? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at our hospital. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and maintaining various electrical operations to ensure the safety and functionality of our equipment and systems.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Work Experience:
2-5 years of electrical experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience with fire alarm and paging systems is desirable.
Knowledge of Data wiring is a plus.
Licenses:
CT E-2 electrical license required, E-1 License preferred.
Educational / Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma with a minimum of four years in a trade school or apprenticeship program.
Two to five years of healthcare setting experience preferred.
One year of experience in installing and maintaining 480 high voltage and fire alarm systems.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and control circuits.
State/Federal Mandated Licensure or Certification Requirements:
Current or equivalent Journeyman Electrical E2 license. Level I licensure preferred.
Valid Connecticut Class I driver's license.
Bristol Hospital Mandated Educational Requirements:
General orientation at the time of hire.
Fire/Safety/Infection Control training annually.
Compliance with other mandated programs by the Hospital.
Special Requirements:
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical trades.
Physical Requirements:
Engagement in light to medium and occasionally heavy lifting tasks.
Performing duties in various physical positions including bending, climbing, standing, and walking.
Work Environment:
Exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and heat.
Working in confined spaces under different indoor and outdoor conditions.
Cognitive Requirements:
Demonstrating mechanical aptitude, strong mathematical skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
