    System Studies & Simulation, Inc (S Inc.) is a woman owned small business founded in 1991, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, that provides technical, programmatic, and logistics services to US Department of Defense, other US Government Agencies, and Partner Nation militaries, co-located with Government requirements.

    S has 3 wholly owned subsidiaries: KBFS- provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications; S3I- OCONUS FMS technical services, maintenance, and aviation platform training; and, GLSS- SCA/CBA contract aviation maintenance.

    GLSS is seeking a senior-level Business Developer who will report to the CEO, at our HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

    Description:

    The Business Developer will help develop long-term relationships with clients and will play a crucial role in the success of our company with diversification among services.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversees proposal management and development to ensure the critical strategic messages are embodied in the proposal and that the win strategy is evident in the final product to maximize probability to win for industry or developed TFPs for the government.
    • Develop customer/program/client relationships that result in repeat industry contract awards or programs of record for the government.
    • Assist in the development of business strategies for a company in the defense industry or program development for the government.
    • Execute strategic business or program capture plans for industry or government.
    • Develop DOD project pricing estimates.
    • Work the approval of gate reviews through a formal lifecycle model for business capture or achieved a milestone decision for the government.
    • Lead DOD contract operations under the FAR.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Masters preferred.
    • 5 years of experience performing in quality controlled environment such as ISO/AS9100.
    • 10 years of experience as a DOD capture manager.
    • 10 years of experience with the FAR.
    • Experience leading a proposal team for a contract in valued over $100M.
    • Experience performing cradle to grave as a capture proposal manger/publications manager.
    • Experience managing a high revenue program or project of record in the military, government, or private sector valued at $100M or more annually.
    • Secret Clearance.
