(S Inc.) is a woman owned small business founded in 1991, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, that provides technical, programmatic, and logistics services to US Department of Defense, other US Government Agencies, and Partner Nation militaries, co-located with Government requirements.

S has 3 wholly owned subsidiaries: KBFS- provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications; S3I- OCONUS FMS technical services, maintenance, and aviation platform training; and, GLSS- SCA/CBA contract aviation maintenance.

S Inc. is seeking a System Safety Analyst to support on-going projects at Redstone Arsenal, Al

Description:
System Safety Analyst will support the government's application and management of a System Safety Program for multiple weapon system programs IAW MIL-STD-882E and DA Pam

Responsibilities:

Conducting safety assessments and hazards analyses of hardware and software that entails missiles, rockets, launchers and related combat equipment
Prepare and/or update Safety Assessment Reports, Hazards Analyses, and System Safety Risk Assessments
Prepare and/or review System Safety Management Plans ( SSMPs) and System Safety Program Plans ( SSPPs) and related safety documentation
Conduct and/or review system safety assessments of new, updated, and/or modified system hardware, including change, waiver and exemption requests
Assess design and system test documentation for incorporation of system safety related requirements and assess test data to verify system safety requirements
Perform technical System Safety Reviews and develop required documentation for Government acceptance
Meet/coordinate with Government and contractor engineer, technical and test agency personnel, and Safety Office representatives to review safety related documentation, test reports, test data and incident data and assess/coordinate safety implications and risk levels to users
Review contractor documentation for safety implications and support the development of inputs to Statements of Work and specification from a Safety perspective

Qualifications:

Master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 10 years relevant functional experience, or HS and 14 years of relevant experience.
A highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable individual who has comprehensive knowledge of SOW areas and performs specialty engineering or analysis.
Carries out complex or novel assignments or performs work of specialized nature.
Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.
Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area of integrates with others, able to utilize, operate and analyze complex systems.
Must have knowledge of MIL-STD- 882 and missile and rocket and launcher weapon systems
