    Description

    A facility is currently seeking FFS Home Care Occupational Therapist in Manhattan, NY. Their goal is to enable senior citizens to enrich their sense of purpose and well-being through a range of groundbreaking healthcare solutions.

    The base pay range for this position is $55 to $60 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Works alongside physicians, patients, families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and fellow care team members to create and execute personalized care and treatment strategies.
    • Utilizes diverse approaches to educate and empower each patient towards better health and self-sufficiency.
    • Evaluates, tracks, records, and communicates patients' progress using necessary documentation and within specified timelines.
    • Offers guidance and assessment for aides and physical therapy assistants.
    • Remains vigilant for any changes in patients' conditions, promptly reporting observations and symptoms to the physician or relevant staff as necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
    • NYS OT License/Certification
    • 1 year of experience working within the field.
