    Description

    An acclaimed non-profit organization dedicated to serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is currently seeking Occupational Therapists for their location in Queens, NY. You would be tasked with providing evaluations and occupational therapy services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.     The base pay range for this position is $42 to $48 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide evaluations and occupational therapy services to adults with I/DD
    • Assess client's physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
    • Give advice and providing support for family members and carers
    • Helping clients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
    • Reviewing client's progress and adapting their treatment accordingly
    • Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, and writing reports

    Qualifications:

    • NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
    • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
    • Prior experience working with individuals with I/DD highly preferred
