Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.

They must be able to assess, prioritize, and treat patients with a wide variety of medical conditions and injuries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency room
Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician
Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Assist with emergency procedures and interventions as needed
Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid RN license
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing
Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in highstress situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
