    Western National is seeking a Salesforce System Administrator II to join our team

    The individual in this role will have the opportunity to provide frontline customer service and technical support to the Customer Relationship Center, the Service Center, the Service Desk, and other Salesforce users within the Western National Insurance Group. The individual in this role will also provide technical support to the Salesforce Application Development Team.

    What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?

    • Provides support for and within the Salesforce platform to ensure appropriate configuration, maintenance, and upgrades are administered.
    • Works proficiently within our ticketing system to understand and respond to customer issues and requests.
    • Troubleshoots and fixes issues to ensure that end users have a good user experience while maintaining service level standards.
    • Supports end users with system questions and ad-hoc training, as needed.
    • Proactively solicits feedback and requirements from end users by identifying and recommending potential modifications and / or enhancements in the system to meet the changing needs of the business partners.
    • Establishes and performs administrator functions, such as user set-up and management of profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, and storage management.
    • Creates and manages system configuration specifications, training manuals, and other internal system documentation.
    • Designs and maintains ad-hoc reports and custom dashboards based on current initiatives and trends in usage and adoption.
    • Performs data cleanup, data migration, and data integration to and from the software platform, troubleshooting any issues and logs and tracks identified issues until successfully resolved.
    • Stays current with system releases and new functionalities, communicates and manages system upgrades in partnership with the development team.
    • Analyzes identified issues to determine whether a system change can mitigate repeated problems.
    • Ensures applications meet the security needs of the organization.
    • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    What are the must-have qualifications for a candidate?
    • Demonstrated understanding of the Salesforce platform.
    • Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated aptitude towards problem identification and resolution.
    • Demonstrated ability for technical decision ownership.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proficient ability in and use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.
    • Advanced ability to incorporate new information into existing processes.
    • Salesforce Administrator certification (or equivalent); additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training or education required; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

    Compensation overview

    The targeted hiring range for this role is $80,100 - $97,900, annually. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions.
