- Perform routine lab functions including generating/testing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and cleaning the lab.
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, cost-effective manner with minimal supervision.
- Carry out various analyses, collect and evaluate the data and communicate results.
- Maintain complete and accurate records, data books and other required documentation.
- Follow and promote the use of safe working practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Chemical lab work experience preferred, but not required.
- Plastics processing and terminology knowledge a plus.
- High School Diploma/GED required. BS in Chemistry a plus.
- Chemical lab experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required, knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and methodical mindset.
- Ability to multitask.
