Skills required:
- Data Entry
- Responsible for entering confidential information into our laboratory's information system. This requires strong attention to detail and ability to identify any errors during data entry process
- Phone
- A portion of this job requires communication with doctor's offices to acquire missing information, or to confirm orders. Must have strong communication skills both in person and over the phone and must be able to speak clearly and be understood.
- Ordering must be able to differentiate orders from all accounts, identify when something needs to be adjusted and input properly into system
- Labeling tech will be required to handle specimens and match and compare forms with specimen cup. Again, this requires strong attention to detail to catch any errors or inconsistencies.
- Aliquoting after accessioning, the tech will aliquot samples from the specimen cup to then be loaded onto our screening instrument. Must adhere to all safety precautions in the lab and wear proper PPE.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant science.
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week

- Evening shift

- Clinical laboratory: 1 year (required)
