We are seeking a Data Scientist (M/F/d) to join our Network Analysis team in Berlin at Flix Tech.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on internal tools, products, and services that utilize statistical and machine learning methods to analyze large transportation networks.

Your role will involve deploying, maintaining, and improving complex machine learning models in production. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders within the Network Planning domain.

Additionally, you will work closely with other teams within the Network Planning domain to ensure the development of transportation networks is informed and efficient.


To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing Data Science products.

You should also have a strong theoretical understanding of machine learning and other statistical methods, particularly tree-based/boosting algorithms, forecasting, and time-series modeling.

Experience collaborating with a team of data scientists and engineers to develop and deliver machine learning models in production is essential, including automated testing, model monitoring, and iterating models.

Proficiency in Python and its Data Science ecosystem (Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.) is required, and familiarity with R is a plus.

You should also have a good understanding of SQL and experience using relational databases, with knowledge of other data streaming and storage services (Kafka, AWS) being beneficial.

An interest in working with geospatial and mobility data is also desirable. As a team player, you
