    Description

    Position: Supervisor/Assistant Superintendent

    Location: New York City

    Are you an up-and-coming construction professional with a passion for commercial and retail interior fitouts? My client are a well-established General Contractor based in NYC, known for expertise in transforming commercial and retail spaces. They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor/Assistant Superintendent.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site operations for commercial and retail interior fitout projects.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
    • Assist in scheduling, material procurement, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

    Requirements:

    • A few years of experience in commercial and retail interior fitout projects, either as an Assistant Project Manager (APM) or Assistant Superintendent.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
