    We are looking to hire a full-time creative, talented, driven, and customer service-oriented Marketing/Events Manager who is interested in an opportunity to work with a fun and exceptional group of oral and maxillofacial surgeons.

    Our Marketing/Events Manager is responsible for increasing community awareness by creating marketing strategies and promoting our brand in the community. We desire an experienced, organized, and efficient person who is willing to exceed expectations at any level of task and driven to develop a strong working relationship with our referrals, our team, and our community. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has the desire to work in the oral and facial cosmetic surgery industry long-term and contribute to the growth of our business. This candidate must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, have a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a great work ethic.

    This position requires some travel and evening work hours. This position is located onsite at our southwest office located at 7845 Carnegie Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN.

    At Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates (OMSA), we are a full-scope practice featuring a team of exceptionally qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the Tri-State regional area with over 100 years cumulative oral surgery experience. Our mission is to provide nothing less than outstanding care so that you can live your best life. Many in the Fort Wayne area consider us to be the THE oral surgery group thanks to our proven track record. While many people seek out oral surgeons for expertise in the mouth, our oral and maxillofacial surgeons also specialize in surgical and non-surgical facial cosmetic enhancements to restore a youthful appearance.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Network with dental and medical practices in the community to build and maintain strong referral base for the practice.
    • Identify and develop new opportunities to expand our growing number of referral sources.
    • Plan and execute various general dentist referral based promotional events (continuing education seminars, educational courses) and additional study club events (Fort Wayne Study Club and The Hygiene Study Club).
    • Intimately engage in the beauty and aesthetics industry to grow our facial cosmetics referral network.
    • Plan and execute various facial cosmetic promotional events (i.e. open house, Dysport Days, patient appreciation events).
    • Maintain current database of referring providers, responsible for data integrity and monitoring of statistical information on referring dentist.
    • Plan and execute bi-annual referral gifts.
    • Collaborate with marketing team on social media strategies and content to grow brands.
    • Plan and execute employee appreciation events, staff events, and community events. (i.e. golf outing)
    • Prepare and maintain budgets associated with position.
    • Perform other related duties as required.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and 2 to 5 years similar work experience (required).
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and 2 to 5 years similar work experience (preferred).
    • Must exhibit a high degree of initiative, creativity, good judgement, and professional ethics.
    • Proven ability to initiate and execute new marketing strategies.
    • Strong team player, multitasking skills, and social media skills. (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-starter, ability to work well under pressure and independently, manage time, and meet project deadlines.
    • Familiarity with dentistry and/or oral and facial cosmetic surgery a PLUS.
    • Reliable transportation and/or valid driver's license to travel as needed (required).
