Job DescriptionTechnical Sales Representative
RMI Laser, LLC. is looking for a technical sales specialist who desires a career in the rapidly growing laser industry. We manufacture industrial laser marking systems for parts identification, traceability and graphics. Our in-house laser technologies include Fiber, YVO4, Green & YAG.
Come join our sales team to provide the best overall solution for almost any laser marking requirement Learn our products with hands-on training. We sell a range of products along with custom engineering capabilities. When it comes to sales, there are endless possibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Makes outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
Handles inbound sales lead calls. Overcomes objections to convert calls into sales.
Builds and maintains customer relationships.
Reviews customer needs, plans, and other possible laser accessory needs to develop and prepare cost estimates.
Quotes prices and credit terms. Estimates date of delivery to customer.
Provides product demonstrations to qualified customers on request.
Utilizes CRM to input and track customer information and sales activity including opportunities, customer requirements, and generate quotes.
Provides order status to customer.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university in Science preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills, both written and spoken. A background in customer care in a service industry is helpful. Ability to learn technical information is required.
