- Percentage of Completion (POC) Tracking: Monitor and calculate POC for ongoing projects based on revenue recognition principles. Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary data and ensure accurate POC calculations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance, including POC reports, budget vs. actuals, and variance analysis. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
- Project Accounting: Maintain project accounting records, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and billing processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts. Monitor project expenses and revenue to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other departments to communicate financial information, discuss project status, and resolve financial issues or discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in project accounting or financial analysis, with a strong understanding of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting principles.
