    About the Role and Company

    Are you a seasoned professional experienced in managing Cloud and Windows systems? Soaring Tech is currently looking for a Senior Cloud and Windows Systems Administrator to join our team. Since our establishment in 2016, we have been committed to simplifying and automating business processes for our clients. With expertise in Laravel, AWS, and DevOps, we assist clients in expanding their businesses by ensuring system scalability and managing technical obligations. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely 90-95% of the time, with occasional visits to client sites for a contract or full-time engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    * Design, implement, and maintain IaaS solutions on platforms like Azure.
    * Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud service implementation.
    * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services for performance and cost-efficiency.
    - Windows Server Administration:
    * Manage Windows servers (2012, 2016, 2019) covering configuration, licensing, and troubleshooting.
    * Implement security protocols to safeguard systems from vulnerabilities.
    * Plan and execute system upgrades and patches.
    - Virtualization and Containerization:
    * Oversee virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
    - Network Administration and Support:
    * Aid in configuring and maintaining networking for on-premise and cloud setups.
    * Identify and communicate networking issues, collaborating with the Senior Network Engineer for resolutions.
    - Backup and Disaster Recovery:
    * Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for Windows and cloud systems.
    * Regularly test and update disaster recovery procedures.
    - Documentation and Reporting:
    * Create detailed documentation on system configurations and best practices.
    * Manage centralized system reporting.
    - Tier 3 Support:
    * Serve as an escalation point for support members when challenges arise.
    - Collaboration and Leadership:
    * Mentor junior team members and align IT services with client requirements.
    * Experience with VoIP is beneficial but not mandatory for this role.

    Requirements

    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
    - Minimum of 5 years as a Windows Systems Administrator with cloud infrastructure management experience.
    - Proficiency in Azure IT services configuration; AWS familiarity is a plus.
    - Strong skills in Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
    - Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database configurations.
    - Familiarity with PowerShell and automation scripting for system management.
    - Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical personnel.
    - Excellent written communication skills and self-motivation in project management.
    - Exposure to SaaS IT services like Office 365, Google Workspace, and cloud identity providers.
    - Previous involvement in migrating on-premise infrastructure to the cloud.
    - Experience with RMM, MDM solutions, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
