- Coordinate the movement of freight shipments by working with carriers, freight forwarders and transportation providers
- Analyze shipping routes consolidate shipments, negotiate rates and explore various transportation options
- Plan and schedule shipments to ensure on time delivery
- Stay updated on all compliance and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers
- Develop and maintain KPI's to measure and track transportation performance
- Occasional travel to local warehouses
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field OR equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in freight coordination, transportation operations or logistics coordination
- Knowledge and experience with various modes of transportation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with freight management systems and transportation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hybrid environment out of our corporate office in Mendota Heights, MN (4 days per week in office)
- 401k with a non-elective 3% contribution from Powerplay
