    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm


    Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
    Graduate Medical Education oversees the Residency and Fellowship training programs at CHLA. GME provides salary, housing stipend, and other funding for residents and fellows. The Budget Assistant will assist with reconciling current budget and maintaining department costs/expenses.

    Specifically, to oversee and implement transfer of funds from a variety of sources to reconcile the GME budget (Hospital accounts, philanthropy, Grants and other Divisions).

    To work with payroll to confirm salaries and benefits for residents and fellows are correct and funded correctly.

    Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year experience in budget development, fiscal monitoring and analysis strongly preferred. Experience preparing and reconciling budgets required.

    Education/Licensure/Certification:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.

    Pay Scale Information

    $52,208.00-$90,178.00

    Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

    The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

    Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
