- Create 3D models and complete production assemblies in Solidworks in accordance with company, client and industry standards
- Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments to ensure designs meet all technical and manufacturing and contractual requirements.
- Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are produced accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate design feasibility and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Manage project timelines and communicate progress to management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or a related field preferred but not required.
- 3-5+ years of experience with Solidworks design.
- Sheet metal emphasis required.
- Solidworks PDM Experience
- Experience with Revit, Autocad and BIM 360 a plus.
- Woodworking experience a plus.
- Experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
