CAD Designer/Operator - Low Voltage (Hybrid role - On-site in either Waxahatchee, TX or Fullerton, CA)

Responsibilities:

• Experience in design and CAD for access control, video, and intrusion is a must
• Potential to liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.
• Create detailed designs with computeraided design (Revit and AutoCAD) software.
• Help design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate workflow.
• Help identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.
• Help ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Experience in design and CAD for access control, video, and intrusion is a must
• Spend time on customer sites, collecting requirements for new stores or existing store renovations. They will gather customer requirements, design the security systems (intrusion, access control, video management), and plot the devices on a floor plan.

Ideal:
Understanding of low-voltage systems, construction techniques, and materials.


Skills:

Proven work experience as a MEP drafter/designer

• Handson experience with computeraided design software, ideally Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience with Bluebeam is preferred
• Proficient math skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
