- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and resource for their ongoing service needs.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, outlining the scope of services, pricing, and terms of engagement.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including consultants, project managers, and support staff, to ensure successful delivery of services and client satisfaction.
- Sales Forecasting: Maintainaccurate sales forecasts and pipeline reportswithQ2 Pricing Analysts and Finance Teamto drivesales activity and progress against targets.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, and use this knowledge to position our services effectively in the market.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of related B2B business development experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent related work experience.
- Proven track record of success in professional services sales, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Strong ability to build relationships both internally and with customer teams.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and closing skills.
- Previous experience building relationships with C-level executives.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to clients.
- Strong understanding of professional services delivery processes and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Ability to prioritize numerous opportunities and initiatives as needed.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and CRM software.

The Job At-A-Glance
Q2 isseeking an experienced and results-driven Professional Services Sales Specialist to join our team.This key individual will be responsible for driving sales & scoping of new Professional Services engagements, working closely with the Professional Services, Sales, and Customer Success organizations. Activities will include leading cross-functional discussions on potential client engagements, building relationships and presenting to leadership teams of our customers, and performing due diligence efforts. This individual will play a key role in achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability.
This position can be a remote position and will require travel to our Austin, TX headquarters as well as traveling onsite to clients.
