    Financial Reporting Manager

    to bring leadership skills and relevant experience to a role with oversite and responsibility of financial reporting responsibilities.

    Job Description:
    Lead the team responsible for compiling external financial statements and MD&A, adhering to U.S. GAAP standards, and conducting monthly analytics.
    Offer guidance and professional development to team members, while also supporting other financial reporting staff.
    Supervise the acquisition of necessary data, either independently or through collaboration with internal departments, to meet reporting deadlines.
    Maintain communication with external auditors as necessary to ensure timely completion of key tasks.
    Evaluate reports for accuracy and punctuality, provide meaningful analysis, and clarify reporting outcomes.
    Explore and apply new accounting standards within the framework of U.S. GAAP and other relevant regulations.
    Guarantee adherence to company policies and procedures concerning Financial Reporting.
    Remain updated on industry best practices to maintain alignment with benchmarks.
    Advocate for procedural enhancements, identifying areas where technology can streamline processes and simplify tasks.

    Qualifications:
    6 or more years' experience within relevant, progressive positions working for the big-4 or a publicly traded financial services company
    Bachelor's degree and/or Master's in Finance or Accounting

    CPA

    Experience:
    Ability to understand our client's business model and can analyze and explain the financial results efficiently through verbal and written communication

    Possesses the following capabilities:
    relaying feedback, leading meetings, coaching and mentoring team, and leadership
    Ability to conduct research of regulatory requirements and ensuring requirements are being complied with by company employees and clients, specifically working with GAAP and SEC requirements
    Accounting software experience preferred
    Trend identification based on analyzed data
    This is a hybrid role with presence in office as required, resulting in about 2-4 office visits per year.

    Compensation for the role is dependent upon experience within a range of 120,000 to 155,000 annually with a discretionary bonus and benefits package.
