- Thoroughly review each repair order, work order, and estimators notes to understand the required repairs before commencing work on the vehicle.
- Complete all repairs according to the documentation provided on the repair order or supplement.
- Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturers' technical repair processes.
- Utilize frame and measuring equipment following vendor procedures.
- Conduct initial teardown of the vehicle and identify parts for cut-in and edging.
- Carry out all repair procedures as per factory specifications and company policy, adhering to I-Car Standard.
- Perform and approve all quality checks before sending the vehicle to the paint department.
- Re-assemble painted vehicle and parts before conducting a final quality check and reviewing the work order prior to sending the vehicle to the detail department.
- Assist in the development of repair skills for apprentice or lesser skilled technicians.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience in a body shop.
