- Diagnose and Repair various brands of material handling equipment within a shop.
- Maintain a very high level of customer service at all times
- Work in a safe manor always adhering to all OSHA regulations
- Recommend methods for service improvements
- Comprehend and retain knowledge of OSHA Compliance standards
- Proficiency or basic understanding of how to read wiring schematics and hydraulic schematics
- Read Technical drawings, vehicle manufactures specifications, work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts
- Safety Procedures-Adhere to safety procedures and perform all work in a safe manor.
- Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Repairing - Repair machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Troubleshooting Determine cause of the equipment failure and how to repair it
- Education Required: High School Diploma (or GED or High School education equivalent)
- Education Preferred: Post-Secondary Certificate in Mechanical Field (Diesel Mechanics)
- Customer and Personal Service
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing high levels of customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses repair and maintenance
- Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Equipment Maintenance - Proficiency in Diesel, Gasoline and LP fuel systems. Must have a basic knowledge and understanding of hydraulic systems, pumps, pressures, and functions. Preference given to candidates with experience on Curtis Electric Controllers and/or SME Electric Controllers
